PURPOSE:To enable the easing of drop in the atmospheric pressure in the engine room accompanied by the closing action of a feed head valve with a simple means by providing a bypass tube with a bypass valve adapted to be opened following the closing action of the valve. CONSTITUTION:When an air feed head valve 3 is closed due to the effect of waves or the like during the action of an internal-combustion engine 2, a bypass valve 7 is automatically opened following the closing action of the air feed head valve 3. Therefore, a part of air in the engine room 1 which is compressed with a supercharger 4 and introduced to the internal-combustion engine 2 with a feed manifold 5 is returned to the engine room 1 through the bypass tube 7a as intact without being used for combustion in the internal-combustion engine 2. This reduces the amount of air to be fed to the internal-combustion engine 2 from the feed manifold 5 thereby reducing the rate of drop in the atmospheric pressure in the engine room 1 with an eventual reduction in the exhaust gas discharged out of the engine room 1 through an exhaust duct 6. |
