PURPOSE:To constitute inexpensively a polarized filter where transmission loss has a peak value at both ends of the pass band by arranging two inverse L- shaped conductors of similar shape on diagonal lines of a resonance window part in a resonance window type waveguide band-pass filter. CONSTITUTION:The filter is constituted by clipping a part before and after a waveguide transmission element 6 made of a thin metallic plate with two square waveguides A, B. A cutout window 7 is formed at the center of the transmission element 6 and conductors 8, 9 are formed in the inside. The conductors 8, 9 are the inverse L-shaped pattern formed in the window 7, the conductor 9 is larger than the conductor 8 and the are similar to each other. The sides 81, 91 of the strip conductors of the inverse L-shaped conductors are in parallel with the direction of an electric field and the sides 82, 92 are orthogonal to the direction of the electric field. The inverse L-shaped conductors in this relation constitute respectively a parallel resonance circuit and a series resonance circuit of a prescribed resonance frequency, the parallel resonance frequency decides the center frequency of the pass band and the series resonance frequency decides the frequency of the peak of the transmission loss. |
