PURPOSE:To realize good antiskid control by a structure wherein a means for varying the period to permit starting calculation of wheel speed is provided in a vehicular running control circuit so as to execute calculation of wheel speed, which requires comparatively long duration, while putting as little pressure as possible on the remaining processing. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of signals from a single or a plurality of vehicular speed sensors (a),...(b), each of which generates a signal with a frequency in proportion to the rotating speed of a corresponding wheel, a control circuit (e) calculates the wheel speeds corresponding to the wheels and outputs drive signals to regulation members (c),...(d) for running state regulation based upon the calculated wheel speeds. In this case, a means (f) for varying the period to permit starting calculation of wheel speed is provided in the control circuit (e). The means (f) for varying the period is adapted so that the period to permit starting calculation of wheel speed is elongated with the increase of calculated wheel speed over a range from the low speed region to the high speed region of calculated wheel speed. |
