PURPOSE:To impart any desired pressure to a rolling body which bears the load, and to provide adjustability for the imparted pressure, by furnishing a tapered gib between slide tables and a mount table to be installed at the oversurface of said slide tables. CONSTITUTION:A pair of track tables 2 are mounted on the mounting reference surface 7 of a bed 1 using bolts 8. On these track tables 2 two pairs of slide tables 3 make straight reciprocation under guidance, circulating along a pair of endless tracks 9 formed at each slide table 3, wherein a number of balls 4 are bearing the load between the track tables 2 and slide tables 3. A mount table 5 is installed at the oversurfaces of the slide tables 3 and fixed by bolts 10a, 10b oriented in the width direction of the slide tables 3, and a tapered gib 6 is interposed between the slide tables 3 and mount table 5. This tapered gib 6 is advanced and retracted in the direction of bolts within a certain range determined by long holes 11a, 11b formed in the tapered gib 6, by loosening the bolts 10a, 10b. |
