The invention relates to a jewellery case for items of jewellery, coins and the like which are placed in insertion pads having a substantially cross-shaped blank, the individual side parts (7, 8, 9, 10) of the cross-shaped blank being foldable at bending lines (13, 14; 15, 16; 17, 18; 19, 20) to form a container. In order to simplify production, assembly and handling and to extend the possible designs, the case consists of a frame in which an insertion pad with a rigid upper side is placed, which upper side forms one part of the outside of the case. <IMAGE>
