A combinable trailer for transport and for use as a tent base or as a camping trailer has detachably fastened, folding-over or displaceable panels which, in the converted state of the trailer, serve as a sleeping surface within a tent which is to be coupled on. The conversion of the trailer into its function as a base element for a tent can be executed simply. Folding-over supplementary panels serve to enlarge the individual sleeping surfaces so that the sleeping surfaces are not limited to the interior of the loading case. In this way, a trailer is provided which can be advantageously used as the base or in combination with a tent base, it being easy to vary the sleeping surface. It is only necessary to place the inner tent onto the dimensions of the base area of the trailer; the outer tent can be of a conventional, commercially available type.
