The invention relates to a three-phase reversing contactor having stationary contact parts, which are used for the incoming and outgoing leads, and contact links, which connect the incoming leads to the outgoing leads. There is a common drive for all the contact links, and a device for displacing the contact links, in the open position of the contacts, from one allocation to the stationary contact parts into another. In consequence it is possible to dispense with a switching magnet, in comparison with known arrangements which are operated using two separate contactors. The displacement device can be provided with a magnet drive which is designed to be significantly lower in power.
