The tool according to the present invention is intended for producing bends or steps in curved surfaces and includes an upper tool-part (9) and a lower tool-part (9 min ) which are arranged to work towards one another, when they are active. Surfaces (17, 18) on the tool-parts have a shape which identifies with or conforms to the shape of the curved surface in which a bend or bends is or are to be formed. The surfaces (17, 18) have the form of form-tools (21, 21 min ) resiliently mounted (26, 26 min ) and guided in the upper and lower tool-parts (9, 9 min ), the form-tools also having shape-identity with the original curved surface. The bending tool according to the invention is suitably arranged in a press (not shown). |
