Rotary drive, in particular for doors, gates, valves and pipe shut-off flaps or the like, in which a fluid cylinder with a drive pinion freely rotatable at the free end of the piston rod is mounted either in a housing so as to be pivotable itself or has in the piston rod in front of the freely rotatable drive pinion a pivot bearing in which a toothed rack curved in a semicircle relative to the drive pinion is fastened on one side to the housing, with which toothed rack the drive pinion meshes, and the drive pinion describes a curved path about an intermediate gear, mounted on the other side, of an intermediate gear unit, in particular with bevel gears, or an output gear of the rotary output shaft, to increase the meshing teeth and the torque to be transmitted, while at the same time being of shorter construction, and to use largely commercially available components for simple and inexpensive manufacture as well as for versatile applicability. |
