PURPOSE:To obtain a rechargeable electrical equipment without danger of explosion by arranging a rechargeable battery provided with a hollow terminal, in the body of the equipment having a sealed construction, and by connecting this terminal to the gas-generating part of the battery. CONSTITUTION:An external blade 2 which works as a main blade is fixed on the head part of a housing 1, while a switching part 5 is fixed on the outside surface of the body of the housing 1. A motor 7 for driving an internal blade 6 and a storage battery 8 are provided inside the housing 1. The storage battery 8 is connected to an adaptor through a positive electrode terminal pin 31 and a negative electrode terminal pin 40a in order to complete a charging circuit 39. The terminal pin 31 is shaped in a pipe and partially joined to the positive electrode 8a of the storage battery 8 by welding of the flange part at its base. The flange part is covered by battery packing 35 made of rubber material. The gas generated in the storage battery 8 is discharged through a gas vent hole 8b provided in the positive electrode 8a into the terminal pin 31 and finally to the outside of the housing 1. According to this construction, the gas generated within the storage battery does not fill the body of the electrical equipment and danger of explosion can be avoided. |
