PURPOSE:To protect the surfaces of vapor-deposited parts and to improve the appearance and quality by adding a pearly pigment to a topcoat for the vapor- deposited parts. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of molded bodies of synthetic resin or the like are subjected to vapor deposition, and the vapor-deposited parts are coated with a topcoat contg. a pearly pigment. The topcoat is prepd. by adding the powdered pearly pigment of about 0.1-50mum grain size to transparent or light-colored two-pack urethane paint by about 0.01-50pts. per 100pts. resin in the paint. |
