PURPOSE:To prevent the damage on a body under test, by retaining the supply of data to a converter, when the up dated data, which is outputted from a computer, exceeds the maximum or minimum digital input value based on the output of a D-A converter, and reporting the fact to the computer. CONSTITUTION:Digital date, which is sequentially outputted from a computer system 1 in accordance with a preset program, is converted into an analog value by a D-A converter 2. A load corresponding to the magnitude of the analog output is made to act on a body under test W. Before the test, the patterns of digital input values corresponding to the maximum value and the minimum value of the output values of the converter 2 are stored in a +F.S. pattern memory 5 and a -F.S. pattern memory 6. An operation control device 9 judges the polarity of the changing direction of the data and compares the data of the corresponding memory 5 or 6. When the maximum or minimum digital input value is exceeded, an interruption signal is generated in an interruption signal generator 10. The fact is reported to the system 1, and the supply of the up dated data to the converter 2 is retained. Thus the damage of the body under test caused by abrupt displacement can be prevented. |
