The invention relates to a therapeutic composition which is suitable for the prophylaxis of cancer and which is also able to destroy malignant cells already present, consisting of an aqueous rheofusin solution, of an aqueous solution of sodium pentosan polysulphate and of a suspension of fresh cells which have been obtained from the umbilical cord of primiparous young sheep after about 4 months gestation, in Pannett-Comptom solution.
