PURPOSE:To execute a data processing, confirming whether a transaction can be advanced or not, by setting a payable amount to a customer, a transaction amount, and a settlement amount of plural transactions, and comparing a summed-up value of the transaction with the payable amount. CONSTITUTION:When a bank clerk inputs a payable amount, a CPU9 sets it to a memory 10, and subsequetly, when the first transaction amount is inputted, a data is received in the same way. When the bank clerk depresses a payment-in key, the CPU9 compares the sum of a settlement amount (zero in this case) and the transaction amount, with a customer's payable amount, and in case of OK, the data is transmitted to a center device through an acoustic coupler 2. The center device decodes it, and in case of OK, a response message of transaction OK is sent, a new settlement amount is set by adding the present transaction amount to the settlement amount, and a printer 11 prints a slip. When a payment-out key has been depressed, if a banker's money in his possession is short, a decision of the CPU becomes NO, characters of ''caution against transaction'' are displayed on an indicator, and the printer 11 prints the contents of the settlement amount. |
