Torsionally elastic, vibration-damping shaft coupling with liquid damping, which transmits torque from the primary part to the secondary part by a plate-like coupling part extending perpendicularly or almost perpendicularly to the axis of rotation, which coupling part is provided on one side with projections and depressions arranged in the nature of a rim and extending axially, with side faces mutually inclined in the peripheral direction, by means of which it engages in the same projections and depressions of the plate-like secondary part or a coupling plate connected to this in the manner of crown gear toothing, sets of spring elements, especially of disc springs being arranged at the side of the coupling parts. The coupling is filled with damping oil, which under the action of the axially displaced coupling plates is forced through restrictor devices provided from one side of the plates to the other.
