Process for the purification of penicillin acylases

The process comprises chromatography of the penicillin acylases using columns composed of equilibrated conjugates for the purpose of biospecific absorption of the penicillin acylases, and elution of these, for the purpose of non-biospecific desorption of the penicillin acylases, and then chromatography of these penicillin acylases using columns composed of equilibrated ion exchange resins in order to obtain penicillin acylases which are homogeneous on electrophoresis and ultracentrifugation.
