PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy operation of a keyboard, by dividing the keys on the keyboard by a number smaller than the number of the keys when the mode is designated to the specific function and securing the same function for all key operations at the divided parts. CONSTITUTION:In a game mode of an electronic wristwatch, a signal ''1'' is delivered to a line 16a from a control part 16 with an operation of a key S2 to turn on only AND circuits 14b and 14d in a gate circuit 13. Then a signal K5 delivered from a key sampling decoder 12 is applied to input lines I3 and I4 of a key matrix circuit 11 via the circuits 14b and 14d plus OR circuits 15a and 15b. As a result, signals K1 and K2 are supplied to input lines I1 and I2, and a signal K5 is supplied to lines I3-I5 of the circuit 11. At the same time, the signal ''1'' is delivered from an AND circuit 18. Accordingly, the signal K5 is delivered through an output line O1 or O2 by the operation of keys 1-8 to be sent to the 1st bit of a register 24 via circuits 22a, 19a and 23a. |
