PURPOSE:To make possible the feed of signals with a desired characteristics to the bearing measuring sonar along with a smaller size and a less weight by generating the noise signals varied in the level and the time lag employing a logic circuit. CONSTITUTION:This generator is provided with a control computer 5 for providing a control command for the signal level and the receiving time lag and a signal generating section 6. The generating section 6 generates noise signals with a bit pattern repeated at a fixed cycle and the initial bit pattern of the signal is set for the shift register 14 by the setting section 12. Thereafter, the noise signal is sent to a level controller 9 according to the clock pulse, and the wave receiving signal 2 controlled in the level according to the data from a computer 5 is fed to a bearing measuring sonar 1. On the other hand, a noise signal delayed by a fixed time from the noise signal of the generator 7 is provided to a level controller 10 from a generator 8 and transmitted to the sonar 1 as the wave receiving signal. |
