PURPOSE:To load a magnetic tape stably even when an unmeasurable force is applied during the loading and to start following recording or reproducing operation smoothly by allowing a collared loading pole to precede an uncollared loading pole, and leading the magnetic tape out of a tape cassette with the collared loading pole. CONSTITUTION:An upper pole arm 94 and a lower pole arm 98 both rotate counterclockwise, and a pole 85 is raised by about 70 deg., via a coupling plate 101 and a lever 99. This raised pole 85 enters a tape path being formed to guide the magnetic tape 2. When the raised pole 85 abuts on the magnetic tape being loaded, the magnetic tape is guided by the raised pole 85 and the part of the magnetic tape which moves toward a loading pole 104B is guided facing down slantingly. There is no shift from the pole 104B even during the slanting operation of the magnetic pole 104B, and the tape loading operation is performed stably. |
