<p>PURPOSE:To strengthen bonding forces of a rubber part and a metal housing by a method in which an adhesive is coated on the face of the rubber part and dried, and the rubber part is put in a metal housing heated to a temperature higher than the softening temperature of the adhesive in such a way as to bond the rubber part and the metal housing by hardening the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic or thermosetting adhesive is coated on the surface of a rubber part 6 and dried. The rubber part 6 is pressed into the space between metal housings 1 and 3 heated to higher than the softening temperature of the adhesive 7, and the adhesive 7 is hardened to bond the rubber part 6 and the metal housings 1 and 3. Since the adhesive acts as a lubricant for pressing, the rubber part 6 can be easily pressed into the metal housings 1 and 3 without the need to use any other lubricant, strong bonding strength can be obtained, the process of operations can be simplified, and cost can be reduced.</p> |
