PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time, and to generate an LSI mask ROM pattern having a high reliability by providing a means for correcting automatically a 1-bit error in a received data generated by the noise being transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A mask ROM data sent through a communication circuit 1 from an overseas or domestic data transmitting place is received, and an error of its data is checked by a data checking part 3. In case a parity error or a check sum error is generated in the checking part 3, data before and after it are formed as a 64-bit block, also formed as a total 72-bit block by adding 8-bit used for detecting and correcting the error, and an error code correcting function is operated. In such a way, in case of a 1-bit error, it is corrected automatically, and in case of an error of >=2-bit, only an error detection is executed, and a retransmission is requested. Thereafter, basing on a data having no error, a picture drawing data is generated in accordance with specifications of a mask ROM in a mask ROM pattern generating part 4. |
