PURPOSE:To obtain a rolling roll capable of surely preventing an accident caused by ring slippage by fitting and fixing an inner ring part consisting of a tough material excluding superhard alloy to the inner periphery of an outer ring consisting of superhard alloy through a smoothly projecting and recessing surface. CONSTITUTION:In a rolling roll formed by providing a flange 2, a fitting part 3, and a threaded part 4 to a shaft 1, and fitting spacers 5, 8 and a ring 7 to the fitting part 3, and fastening and fixing the parts to the shaft 1 by a locking nut 9; the ring 7 to be used for rolling is constituted of an outer ring part 7a consisting of superhard alloy and an inner ring part 7b consisting of a tough material such as steel, FRP, and hard rubber excluding superhard alloy, and the ring 7 is fixed to the shaft 1 by fitting a keyway 10 provided to the inner periphery of the ring part 7b to a key provided to the outer periphery of the shaft 1. The outer and inner rings 7a, b are fitted and fixed to each other through a fitting surface formed into a smoothly projecting and recessing surface along the peripheral direction, to prevent a relative rotation caused by the torque during rolling. |
