摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the fransfer defect on account of an increased speed by disposing the front end part of a force-transfer guide consisting of a material of which the quantity of the triboelectricity with transfer paper does not overcome the electrostatic attraction force on the surface of a photosensitive drum in proximity at a specific distance to the surface of the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The adhesion of a toner to a fore-transfer guide 6 is induced if the front end of the guide 6 is disposed in proximity to 0.5-2mm. distance to the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 in order to suppress the flatter of transfer paper T generated by the increased speed of a copying machine. The cause for such phenomenon lies in that the quantity of the triboelectricity of the guide 6 increases sharply to the value at which said quantity overcomes the electrostatic attraction force on the surface of the photosensitive drum. If a material of which the quantity of the triboelectricity does not overcome the electrostatic attraction force on the surface of the photosensitive drum is selected and used for the guide 6, the toner contamination owing to the increased speed is prevented.
