PURPOSE:To rake up sedimented sand with slime by providing a rack consisting of a horizontal portion above the water surface of a sand sedimentation basin provided in the upstream side waterway of a screen and an inclined portion rising along the screen and also a rake movable along the rack. CONSTITUTION:A rack 6 having a horizontal portion 7, a connecting portion 8, and an inclined portion 9 is attached to side plates 5 erectly provided on both sides of a waterway 2. A rake 12 is also attached in a movable manner by a main roller to be guided by rails 10 and 11 for the drive shaft main roller and rake guide roller and guide rollers 14 and 13. The rake 12 goes down along the inclined portion 9, reaches the horizontal portion 7 at the state of A, and moves between the states C, D, E, and F through the state of B, during which period sand in the sedimentation basin 3 is raked up. At the state of G, slime on the screen 1 is raked up with the sedimented sand and dropped into a discharge section 4 when inversed at the uppermost end of the rack 6. |
