NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (n and m are integer of 1-18) and its salt. EXAMPLE:3',5'-Dimalonyl-5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine. USE:Antineoplastic agent. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by (1) reacting the compound of formula II (R is protected hydroxyl group) with the reactive derivative of the compound of formula III (e.g. malonic acid) in the presence of a base, (2) removing the protecting group from the product, (3) reacting with the reactive derivative of the compound of formula IV (m' is integer of 1-18) in the presence of a base, and if necessary, (4) converting the product to a salt.
