PURPOSE:To prevent the overlapped joint section between a primay transmission part and a secondary transmission part in the wheel transmission casing of a rice-planting machine from being made into contact with the mud surface of a paddy field, by overlappingly jointing between the primary transmission part and the secondacy transmission part so that the overlapped joint section is formed in a dog-leg shape, and as well by disposing the secondary transmission part in the inside cavity of a wheel rim. CONSTITUTION:The casing 9 of a wheel transmission for transmitting power from an engine 29 on a rice-planting machine comprises two trnasmission parts, a primary transmission part 7 and a secondary transmission part 8, which are arragned in a dog-leg shape as observed in a side view and coupled together by means of an overlapped joint section with the secondary transmission part being disposed in the inside cavity of the rim of a wheel 17. With this arrangement, since the overlapped joint section takes a relatively high level position even if the wheel 17 sinks, the joint section 10 is not made into contact with the mud surface, and no increase in running resistance is appreciated. |
