<p>A spray-shower apparatus wherein there is provided a pipe formed with openings in the wall thereof to accommodate flat fan nozzles. A flat fan nozzle is provided with a plurality of sides on its outer circumference. A nozzle base is provided for seating in a pipe wall opening and formed with an opening having the said plurality of sides for mating engagement with the outer circumference of the flat fan nozzle for supporting the flat fan nozzle in the pipe wall opening with the plane of the fan spray produced by the flat fan nozzle bearing a predetermined relationship relative to the axis of the pipe determined by the position of the nozzle base in the pipe wall opening. The angle between the said axis and the said plane is slightly more than 0.degree. so that the ends of the spray from the nozzle clear the overlapping ends of any sprays from adjacent nozzles seated in the pipe.</p> |
