REFORMING DEVICE FOR STEEL BAR

PURPOSE:To reform a rolled bar material with high accuracy with a small-sized device by installing a roller box contg. a reforming roller pair which can be adjusted in height and distance between centers in proximity to rolling rolls and driving the same by the shaft of a driving distribution box. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the reforming rollers 6 in the roller box body A installed in proximity to the rolling rolls R are rotated in the directions opposite from each other as the revolution at the output end 21 of the driving distribution box 15 is transmitted via a universal joint 22 to a roller shaft 4. The distance between the centers of the shafts 4 is adjusted by rotating an eccentric shaft 26 by turning of the worm shaft of a means D for adjusting the distance between the centers of the rollers. A ring 25 is rotated by a worm gear 23 of a height adjusting means C for the rollers to move the shaft 4 upward or downward by which the height of the rollers 6 is adjusted. The bar material emitted from the rolling rolls R is smoothly introduced between the adjustable rollers 6 in the small-sized box A and is thereby reformed.
