PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature objective lens driver which is free from an undesired moment and has the facilitated installation by setting the outer circumferential part of an annular elastic material of rubber, etc. of a 2-dimensional driver at the side of a bearing with the inner circumferential part fixed at the support side to secure a symmetrical distribution on the basis of a center of an optical disk player, etc. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens holder 11 and a bearing stand 19 are twisted slightly and relatively to set the position of an objective lens 13 at the positions of light holes 18b and 21. Then a damping elastic material 22 made of rubber, etc. is inserted from the back side of the stand 19. The outer and inner circumferential parts of the material 22 are fixed to the stand 19 and a support shaft 12 respectively. Furthermore, the reinforcement is secured with use of a set ring 23 and a set pin 24. Thus the assembling process is over. An objective lens driver having such constitution can be miniaturized since the material 22 doubles a damping material for both focusing and tracking directions. In addition, no undesired moment is produced since the material 22 is set symmetrically to a center line. Then the independent drive is possible in each direction since the stage 19 serves as a guide. |
