Triazine deriv. (I) [X1=hydrogen, halogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy; Z=oxygen, sulfur; R1=C1-4 alkyl; R2=halogen, C1-4 alkylthio, C1-4 alkoxy! is prepd. for use as a weed-killer. 1.64g of 2,6-dichloro-4- amino-s-triazine is dissolved into 5.5g of acetone and 1.75g of 1- (2'-benzopuranyl) propyl amine is added into the triazine soln. 0.84g of sodium bicarbonate in 6.0g of water is mixt. with the reaction soln. This reaction mixt. is stirred at 50≦̸C for 1hr to give 2- chloro-4-amino-6-(1'-(2'-benzopuranyl) propylamino)-s-triazine.
