The method of making a non-metallic bearing assembly by initially molding the inner portion of the bearing as a flat longitudinally extending strip having a plurality of spaced abutments. The flat strip is then rolled into a hoop and thence wound with fabric as such fabric is impregnated with epoxy resin.
