PURPOSE:To hold the inside of an optical system invariably clean as well as prevention against the internal contamination of the optical system by dividing the optical system and photosensitive body and arranging a detachable transparent member at the boundary part, and cleaning up the photosensitive-body side of the transparent member or using a throwaway member as the member. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is passed over the optical system 3 and the photosensitive body 5 is exposed thereto through the transparent member 4 provided to a partition material 12 which divides the optical system 3 and photosensitive body 5. A cleaning member 8 is fixed to the lower (photosensitive-body side) edge of the fixed hole 9a of a machine frame 9, and the transparent member 4 is fitted in the hole 9a while abutting on the member 8. When the member 4 is attached and detached, cleaning is performed with the member 8. The member 4 uses glass, plastic neither glass, etc. The member 8 uses felt, moltprene, carbon fiber, etc. Further, it is recommended that plural members 4 are inserted and fouled one is removed. |
