PURPOSE:To obtain a rectified state detection signal in response to the number of rectifying sparks and to detect the excess or insufficiency of a reactance voltage by connecting a high pass filter through an insulating amplifier between field winding terminals, and processing the waveform of the output. CONSTITUTION:A high pass filter 9 for cutting off the frequency components lower than a power source frequency is provided through an insulating amplifier 8 between terminals of a field winding 5 of a commutator machine, the output is inputted and integrated to a waveform processing circuit 10, an output signal in response to the number of sparks is obtained, and indicated on an indicator through a comparator 11. Accordingly, even when the power source 1 produces an AC, a pulsating DC or a pure DC, the voltage corresponding to the spark can be clearly indicated separately from a field winding voltage, the excess or insufficient compensation of the reactance voltage is discriminated to regulate the interpoles 4, and the deterioration in the rectification can be readily detected to protect a commutator against a damage. |
