PURPOSE:To ensure the back-up for a fault of a control system by providing a back-up means which backs up a part of a control function with another computer to each microcomputer together with and a reset signal generating means using the monitor of a program action signal of another computer. CONSTITUTION:A fault arises at an A microcomputer 2 during the working of a control system 1, and the control action is stopped. In such a case, a reset signal Rb is delivered from a B microcomputer 3. Then the computer 2 is initialized by the signal Rb in case the fault is temporary due to noises, etc. While back-up signals BA1 and BA2 are delivered from the computer 3 with outputs AO1 and AO2 if the computer 2 is not reset to its normal state despite the retries of N times of the computer 3. Then signals BA1 and BA2 are supplied to the ignition system of the engine and the fuel jet control system respectively. Therefore at least the engine ignition control and the fuel jet control are secured despite a fault of the computer 2. |
