PURPOSE:To set magnification with an easy operation by moving a spot light to designate the reference points of an original picture and inputting the dimensions of the picture before copying based on reference points and moving a spot light source thereafter to input the dimensions of the original after copying. CONSTITUTION:When an (x)-direction magnification set key 30h or a (y)- direction magnification set key 30i on a console panel 30 is operated in an image forming device where an image formed on an image carrier is transferred to a transfer material, main processor group 71 is set to the copy magnification setting mode with a spot light source 131. In case of setting of a reduction magnification in the (y) direction, an optional reference pint P is designated, and the spot light source 131 is moved to designate an optional point P1, and the dimensions of an original G of the picture before copying are designated in accordance with reference points P1 and P2. Next, the sport light source 131 is moved to designate an optional point P3, and the dimensions of the picture after copying are designated in accordance with reference points P1 and P3. The copy magnification is calculated based on the positions of 3 designated points. |
