PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth point range by a simple system, by interpolating by a point a part between points of a point train, when the point train has been given. CONSTITUTION:Coordinates of points Pk-1, Pk- given first are given from a point range coordinate input part 1. They are stored in a point range coordinate memory 3 through a control part 2. The coordinate of each point stored in the memory 3 is read out successively by the control part 2, and transferred to an interpolating coordinate operating part 4. The operating part 4 has an operating function, and coordinates inversion Pk, inversion Pk+1 are derived by an expression. In the expression, a coefficient Ci is a coefficient correspoding to weight, therefore, the expression derives a coordinate of an interpolating point by a weighted mean of its adjacent point. When such a processing is executed with regard to all (k)'s, a smoother point range passing through a point given in the beginning is generated, and displayed on a display device 8. When the point train obtained in this way is processed repeatedly as an initial value, it increases to four times, eight times,..., therefore, a smoothness of the point train can be increases as much as desired. |
