摘要 PURPOSE:To stably maintain a superconductive coil in a cryogenic temperature state for a long period by concentrically providing double radiation heat shielding cylinders in a vacuum chamber of a torque cylinder containing the coil. CONSTITUTION:A normal temperature shielding cylinder 3 integral with an outer cylinder 2 is provided with a vacuum chamber 4 formed at the intermediate of a rotational shaft 1. A torque cylinder 6 which containes a superconductive coil 5 is secured through stretchable bellows 7 in the chamber 4, and a coolant from 10 for storing coolant 8 is formed at the intermediate of the cylinder 6 by a partition plate 10. On the other hand, ring bands 6a, 6b are formed at both outer end peripheral surfaces of the cylinder 6 formed with the vacuum chamber, and radiation heat shielding cylinders 16 18 formed with reflecting surfaces on the surfaces are secured via an intermediate material 19 by clamping member 20 at the banks 6a, 6b. Thus, the radiation heat and conduction heat invaded from the exterior can be effectively shielded to stably maintain the superconductive coil in cryogenic temperature state for a long period.
