PURPOSE:To access efficiently to a data base and to improve the space efficiency of the data base by using a record stored in an application program work area and a record stored onto the data base as a specified data item. CONSTITUTION:Record type of a record X is defined as data item groups A-C, the record X on a user program work area UWA is formed as a control data item CTL and data item groups A-C independently whether or not the content of the item group numbers A-C is significant. The 3-bit of the item CTL corresponds to the item group A-C. Further, the record X on the data base DB consists of the control record control section CTL and the data item groups A, C. The device storing the record on the data base consists of an application program 1, analyzer 2, skeamer/sub-skeamer 3, an STORE routine 4, page input/output processing section 5, data base 6, and a page buffer 7 to improve the space efficiency of the data base. |
