PURPOSE:To remove inconvenience allowing the succeeding user to start mechanical operation under the preceding setting condition by actuating an auto- reset function immediately after releasing mechanical operation enabled state. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with the auto-reset function for resetting the data of set-up variable items automatically to its standard state when no operation is applied to a copying machine even if a fixed time has been passed from the completion of the depression of operation keys and copying operation or the completion of temperature rise of a fixer, auto-reset processing for resetting the data of the set variable items automatically to the standard state. An auto-reset timer is set up to about 30sec-1min, and if a copying machine is left as it is during the set period, no request of copying under the set condition is regarded and processing regarding the variable items such as the number of set copying sheets, magnification, and exposure as the standard state is executed. Thus, inconvenience allowing the succeeding user to execute mechanical operation under undesired operating conditions can be prevented efficiently. |
