PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of operation by automatically replacing a center PLU and a local PLU in accordance with the sailing commodities to be changed every day. CONSTITUTION:A PLU (commodity data file) automatic replacing module 25 is accessed before adjustment processing after closing a shop to execute the following processing. At first, the commodity record information of the most frequently sailed commodity in the center PLU buffer 26 is registered in a work buffer 53 and the record information of the least frequently saled commodity in a local PLU file buffer 27 is registered in a work buffer 54. The values of access counter parts out of the record information in the work buffers 53, 54 are compared, the frequently saled commodity in the center PLU is deleted from a center PLU file 23 and added to the file 24 or the buffer 27. The reverse case is also similarly processed. |
