PURPOSE:To simplify positioning and lower price by allowing a locator fixed onto a main-sindle holding body to restrict the locate pins arranged at equal pitches in a tool magazine through the relative transfer between a holding body and the tool magazine. CONSTITUTION:A main spindle head 15 is transferred up to a prescribed height according to a tool replacement instruction and shifted with a slidable base 14 in the direction of a magazine 20. During this time, the magazine 20 dividing-revolves and directs the vacant notched part 22 in Y direction, and when the slidable base 14 and the main spindle head 15 are transferred until a holder H is inserted, the magazine stops. Then, also a locator 18 shifts and is inserted between locate pins 21, and a main spindle 16 is positioned onto the notched part 22, and the revolution of the magazine 20 is locked. Then, the main spindle head 15 is raised, and a tool T after use is accommodated into the magazine 20. Then, the slidable base 14 is shifted to release the engagement between the locator 18 and the pins 21, and the holding notched part 22 for a prescribed tool is directed towards the main spindle 16 side through the revolution of the magazine 20, and the slidable base 14 is inserted between the locator 18 and the pins 21, and the main spindle 16 is inserted into the holder H, and working is started after clamping. |
