PURPOSE:To make it possible to accurately perform starting point delivery operation, by a method wherein a predetermined number of order pulses are outputted after the stoppage of a motor is detected to reversely rotate the motor while said motor is stopped when a number of position signals are coincided with a number of order pulses and the stop position is set as the starting point. CONSTITUTION:A printer controller 1 imparts MFWD to a servo control part 2 as L and MLIM to a current limit part 4 as H while a carrage 5 is moved by rotating a motor M by a driver part 3 and encoder outputs phi1, phi2 are applied to a wave form shaping circuit 8 to be converted to a position signal FBP and MCMD to perform speed control. When the carriage 5 is impinged to the mechanical stopper of a starting point position, the motor M is forcibly stopped and MDRV is brought to L and an eddy current at this time is limited by a limiter 4. In the next step, MFWD is brought to H, MLIM to L and, succeedingly, MDRV to H and the carriage 5 is reversely moved by the reversal rotation of the motor M which is, in turn, stopped when a predetermined FBR signal is received and this position is set to the starting point. By this method, the position of the starting point can be accurately determined. |
