PURPOSE:To manufacture a molded article to which a clear pattern is provided without being limited by fluidity of a pattern molding material, by a method wherein the pattern molding material on which a mold release agent is coated is intermingled with a ground color molding material, which is molded under a heating state. CONSTITUTION:Colored thermosetting resin forming materials such as phenolic resin and melamine resin are used as a ground color forming material. As for a pattern molding material, the same thermosetting resin molding materials as the above resin are colored in the different colors from the above ones and used under a state wherein the surfaces are coated with a mold release agent (stearic acid, wax and metallic soap). Then the pattern molding material intermingled with said ground color molding material is molded by a screw and heated cylinder type injection molding machine. As the pattern molding material is hard to melt within a cylinder and is molten through heating in a mold into which the material is injected, a molded article whereon a pattern is provided clearly can be obtained. |
