Control circuit for throttle flap in air inlet line to IC engine

The control circuit electrically controls the throttle flap so that it is first closed for a given time and then opened again. A turn-off signal triggers a timing circuit (14,17-20) that supplies a control unit (11) with voltage during its hold time. The unit closes and opens the throttle flap (35). The turn-off signal is the engine's ignition signal. The control unit is connected to the supply voltage via a switch (29) whose control input is connected to the output of the timing circuit. The turn-off signal is applied to both the input timing circuit and to the control unit. The timing circuit has a capacitor (14) held at a constant voltage whilst the engine is running.
