The fixed wall of the warehouse or store carries the lower half of the seal, which forms a trough. The trough is filled with a suitable, low volatile liquid which will not emulsify or oxidise and remains viscous down to -50 deg.C. - The leaf seals, fixed to the mobile walls, have their lower edges immersed in the troughs and form a perfect seal. The volume enclosed by the seal is filled with dry air or inert gas.
