PURPOSE:To increase low temperature performance and high rate performance, and increase cycle performance especially in a secondary battery by using electrolyte prepared by dissolving a specified compound in 1,3-dioxolane derivative or a mixture of 1,3-dioxolane derivative and other organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:Electrolyte is prepared by dissolving a compound indicated by the following general formular in 1,3-dioxolane derivative or a mixture of 1,3- dioxolane and other organic solvent. For example, electrolyte is prepared by dissolving Li[B(p-FC6H5)3CH3] in a mixed solvent, having a volume ratio of 70:30, of 4-methyl-1,3-dioxolane and 1,2-dimethoxyethane in a ratio of 1mol/l. This electrolyte is used to produce a button type battery comprising a lithium negative electrode, titanium disulfide positive active material, and a separator of stacked porous polypropylene film and polyproplylene nonwoven fabric. |
