PURPOSE:To obtain automatically the proper translated sentences corresponding to the original sentences by storing the original sentences corresponding to the translated sentences and changing the translated sentences by re-translating the corrected sentence only when the original sentences are corrected. CONSTITUTION:The original sentences inputted by the input device 1 are stored in the original sentence file 3 through the input control device 2. The translation control device 4 translates the original sentences and stores the translated sentences in the translated sentence file 5 corresponding to the original sentences stored in the original sentence file 3. The original sentences and translated sentences stored in the original sentence file 3 and translated sentence file 5 are guided to the display device 7 through the display control device 6 and are simultaneously displayed. When the edited places and edited contents are indicated from the editing input device 8, the editing control device 9 calls the indicated sentence from the original sentence file 3 or translated file 5 and edits the sentence. The editing control device 9 controls to correspond to the sentences in the original sentence file 3 and translated sentence file 5 per sentence.
