The machine comprises a sonotrode (1), a matrix (4) of tubes (5) supplying the yarns (10) to a support sheet (7) for welding rows of loops at the surface of said sheet. The matrix (4) is guided between slides (6) which are parallel to the longitudinal axes of the tubes (5) and perpendicular to the vibration application surface of the sonotrode (1). A driving mechanism (13, 14, 15) brings periodically the ends of the tubes (5) through which the yarns are coming out against the sonotrode (1) by pressing the base of one row of loops and the support sheet (7) against the sonotrode to cause the welding between each other.
