Synthetic resin is injected in liq. state into a mould cavity (2) bounded by a jacket (4) and a core (5) extending in a penetration direction (6) into the interior of the jacket (4). The jacket is formed of two relatively movable jacket parts (10) which move in a direction transverse the penetration direction (6) of the core, toward and away from the core during closing and opening of the mould cavity.
