PURPOSE:To smoothly and securely execute search processing by conducting search processing of PLU (price loop up) unit by hardware. CONSTITUTION:Multiple terminals 21-24 are connected to the control unit 1, and each POS terminal 311-31n,...341 is connected to each line 21-24 of these. POS terminals 311-34n have fixed scanners 411-41n and automatically read the merchandise code which is tagged to merchandise. The control unit 1 is connected to the personal computer 5, floppy disk 6 and PLU unit 7. The PLU unit 7 compares the merchandise cord which is read at the POS terminal and the memoried merchandise, and when both coincide, the PLU unit 7 transfers the unit cost of the merchandise to the POS terminal through the control unit 1. |
